Death

Is it real? Our senses tell us that it is. Most of us also believe that life beyond death is possible. Everything, whether imagined or tangible, is real. Those that have passed live on in our imagination. Proof that the end of the physical does not necessarily mean the end of a particular being. There is no evidence that creation happens in reverse. We are forced to acknowledge the duplicity of our existence because there is no evidence to the contrary. Death cannot be separated from life, just as destruction cannot be separated from creation. Our, me, I, you, us, has one lifetime: this is it. Our Now will never exist again, but Now never really ends. We are in a constant state of change. We are not the same as a moment ago, and will be different a moment from now. It could be argued that we die and are reborn in the next instant over and over again. In other words we live forever in the moment.

Death is one of the words we use to describe the destruction of a particularly animated aspect of existence, or of a particular aspect of physicalness. Creation occurs in every instance of destruction. This would suggest that in every death there is some form of creation. We know that in death a particular manifestation of personality is destroyed with the physical, so what is the nature of that which is created out of death? It must be some type of continuation of personality in another form. So, are we reborn? That may not be the right question to ask. “We,” is our definition of us, but what ever we call it, evidence suggests that some aspect of our existence never dies. If we embrace that particular line of reasoning we can dispense with fear. Fear of death can be debilitating.

Fear of death can stop us from living.

Todays prophecies:

1. Not with out much gnashing of teeth tax rates in the U.S. will get even lower and flatten out. The poor will not fare any better and the rich will feel as if they were robbed because deductions and loop holes will go away also. These changes will keep the U.S. on course as a world leader but the ideology of U.S. exceptionalism will die a slow and painful death.

2. Even though his performance as president is being questioned Barack Obama will eventually be seen as one of the most productive of modern U.S. presidents. He is quietly working his agenda.

3. I just got something about Britney Spears. She falls down, faces another embarrassing moment, or something of a more serious nature. She will have to take some time off.

Bonus: The U.S. will face an embarrassing military defeat. This will frighten the planet and lay the ground work for greater cooperation between nations to stop rogue regimes.
